Terms of Service
Terms for using ClaimAnchor software, including role limits, acceptable use, payments, disclaimers, and governing law.
1. Acceptance
By using ClaimAnchor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What ClaimAnchor is — and is not
ClaimAnchor provides software tools to help veterans organize evidence, understand the VA claim process, and prepare review-ready drafts. ClaimAnchor is not a law firm, is not a VA-accredited representative or agent, does not provide legal, medical, or claims advice, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency. We do not guarantee any claim outcome or disability rating.
3. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and located in the United States to use ClaimAnchor.
4. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for safeguarding your account credentials.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by uploading unlawful content, infringing others' rights, attempting to breach security, or using the service to provide accredited representation you are not authorized to provide.
6. No professional advice; no guaranteed outcome
ClaimAnchor is a self-help organizational tool. It is not a substitute for advice from a VA-accredited representative or a licensed attorney. AI-generated content may be inaccurate and must be reviewed by you. Nothing in the service guarantees approval, a particular rating, or any specific result.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the materials you upload. You grant ClaimAnchor a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you.
8. Payments
Paid features, where offered, are billed through Stripe. Applicable fees and refund terms are disclosed at the point of purchase.
9. Intellectual property
ClaimAnchor and its software, content, and trademarks are owned by ClaimAnchor and may not be copied or reused without permission.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClaimAnchor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and ClaimAnchor's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid ClaimAnchor in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the liability, or (b) US $100.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify ClaimAnchor against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your data.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms and will post the new effective date.
